what are the Best Pets In Game - Guild Wars Forums

My understanding that the Black Widow Is the best? Do they come Alder,Dire and Hearty like the wolfs? Now the big ? Do you get a Alder and rise it to Dire then to hearty? ( on the Wolf that is) if not where do i find a dire or hearty wolf?
